We have three variations of our Z Clips to fit any purpose. ZCP1 has the shortest lift clearance at 3/8” (10 mm) compared to the others with 5/8” (15.5 mm) and 1/2” (12.7 mm), respectively, which makes it slightly easier to remove your sign or panel. ZCP2 is the slimmest of the three, coming in at a mere 3/16” (4.2 mm) compared to the other styles at 1/4” (6.4 mm). ZCP3 is slightly larger than the others and able to hold slightly heavier materials on the same number of clips.
Each style of our Z Clips come in three lengths: Small, 3′ (0.91 m), and 6′ (1.83 m). The Small size varies between 1 1/2” to 2 1/2”, depending on the style. For larger items we suggest using multiple small clips on the item to provide the strongest possible installation.
Installing is as simple as ever. First, mount a small Z Clip to your material. Then, depending on your application, mount another Z Clip to the wall. If you are hanging a single item, we recommend mounting a second small Z Clip to the wall to ensure all hardware is out of site. If you are hanging multiple items in a row, use the 3′ or 6′ lengths to install multiple panels in a straight line easily along part or all of a wall. After you have your Z Clip installed on your material and on the wall, it’s as simple as lowering the material onto the wall until the Z Clip lock into place on each other.
If you will be installing a heavy sign or heavy panels, then we recommend mounting the Z Clip to a stud wherever possible (if installing in drywall) to ensure the strongest foundation possible. Whether you are installing into drywall, concrete, brick, or anything else, we recommend using our #8 Anchors for a perfect fit.
